Wood Duck Pale

Wood Duck Pale (Cream Ale)

ABV 5%
A pale-gold coloured ale with a perfect balance of biscuity malt and mild hop bitterness.

Wood Duck finishes with a pleasant earthy spiciness from a generous addition of English Goldings and Czech Saaz hops late in the process. We put nitrogen through our signature beer so that the Wood Duck pours like a creamy milkshake and settles into one of the smoothest beers you’ll find anywhere.

Our most popular beer, the Wood Duck literally flies out the door!

Fish River Gold

Fish River Gold (Golden Ale)

ABV 5%
An inviting golden-copper colour, initially offers a light sweetness from caramelised malt.

Based on the recipe for the first Golden Ale brewed in Australia, and named after the site where gold was first mined in Australia, our Fish River Golden Ale uses a small quantity of roast malt and a hefty late addition of hops to give a mild dryness to the finish that begs another sip.

Perfect Storm Lager

Perfect Storm (Lager)

ABV 4.8%
A slightly fuller body and depth of flavour from a proportion of Australian malt sets Perfect Storm Lager apart from the commercial lagers, while remaining a very sessionable beer.

A blend of Australian, American and German ingredients collides together in our cloudy, unfiltered lager for a perfectly fruity and refreshing take on a worldwide classic style. Restricted sulphur notes from an old-world yeast strain combines with the spicy and fruity hops from Germany and the US for a flavour sensation not often found in today’s lagers.

Old Brown Duck

Old Brown Duck (English Brown Ale)

ABV 5%

Deep malt flavours and a touch of roasty dryness blend with the resinous hop bitterness to really keep the Old Brown Duck on its perch as a fine example of a beloved old world style with a new world twist.

The collection of English ingredients and a change in the brewing process gives a very authentic flavour to the Old Brown Duck. However, putting nitrogen through the beer gives a smoothness you might not expect.

Cannonball Stout

Cannonball Stout (Dark Ale)

ABV 4.9%

Winner of the 2014 Australian International Beer Awards Gold Medal in Stout Category!!

Mild roast character and a twinge of biscuity sweetness are given centre stage by the background hop bitterness and secret ingredient, resulting in a pleasantly dry finish.

Three different dark malts and two light malts give Cannonball Stout a depth of flavour not often achieved in black beers. A couple of secret tweaks at the end of the brewing process give the beer a surprising smoothness that makes it an unusually quaffable stout, and putting it on nitrogen gas only accentuates that smooth character.

Coolship

Coolship (American Style Pale Ale)

ABV 4.8%
A medium-bodied beer that lets the hops shine. Great with any spicy or fried food!

You guessed it: a heavily hopped pale ale. We use lots of Mosaic hops in the Coolship for its unique bouquet of flavour and aroma; citrus, berries, floral and spicy notes dominate. We also use a blend of lesser known, more earthy and resinous hops to balance the wild Mosaic flavours.
